Finding Cheap Wii Accessories
Official Wii accessories are easy to find with the popularity of the Wii gaming system soaring on the market today. Although the gaming system itself is still fairly expensive, it is not so difficult to find cheap Wii accessories to go with the system and add to the experience. Many of these accessories can be found on the market for between ten and thirty dollars, which is not too expensive and this is in the retail stores when they are not on sale. Individuals can find many cheap Wii accessories around the holidays when there are sales, in addition to looking for the product in second hand electronics shops, discount electronic stores and online auctions.
Types of Accessories
One of the cheapest Wii accessories on the market is the remote skin. This product can often be found for under ten dollars. The remote skin helps individuals to hold onto the remote, even when the individuals' hands get sweaty in the course of playing the game. The Wii remote skins are usually made of a rubber or silicon material which is easy to grip and comfortable on the hand as opposed to the hard plastic of the remote itself.
Another fairly cheap and very fun Wii accessory is the Nunchuck, which can often be found for just above fifteen dollars. This cheap Wii accessory is used in conjunction with the Wii remote so that the two are hooked together while playing. There is a cord that runs from the Nunchuck to the remote so that both can work in tandem for certain games. The Nunchuck also has a sensor in it so that it detects the motions that the individual makes while using it, in addition to having other features such as a mini joy stick.
Cheap and practical Wii accessories are the remote chargers. There are some chargers that can be found for around twenty dollars. Some of these Wii charging systems come with additional rechargeable batteries and also battery cases so that the batteries charge faster and retain their charge longer. Often the remotes will hold their charge for twenty to twenty-five hours after using these chargers which is excellent for the serious gamer.
There are other, not so cheap, Wii accessories that go with different games built for the Wii system. There are steering wheels for racing games and guitars that go with music challenges in rock bands, all of which are fun accessories to add to a Wii system.
